Turning 9lb of steel into a meatball for this giant Emmert 10a vise! This was a fun little job to use my metal lathe the way I’d have used a wood lathe. I used a round carbide insert tool to avoid any sharp edges and did this all by eye. I could have tried to learn how to program my DRO to do this perfect but that would have made it too easy… this restoration is coming along nicely!
