Unlike other members of the carrot family, rattlesnake master has a composite flowers that are closely packed together around a globe. Rattlesnake Master is a fantastic architectural, tall perennial for the middle or back of your beds. It is a pollinator magnet for lots of native insects and the leaves are a host plant for swallowtail butterflies. They prefer full sun and soil that isn’t very very dry or has standing water. They are a medium moisture plant. They will get 4 feet tall and the spheres will come out in early to mid-summer.
