Happiness comes and goes. Joy doesn’t. That’s why scripture says “The joy of the Lord is our strength.” Not the happiness of the moment. Happiness shifts with circumstance. Joy stays steady when everything else falls apart. You might not be happy with every task or season, but if it brings you joy — if it builds you, fulfills you, and aligns with what God’s put inside you — it gives you strength. But if it doesn’t… and you keep forcing it… it’ll drain the life out of you. Find what brings joy. S
