But when I actually sat down and studied it properly, I realised the opposite was true. Firstly, the Rosary is deeply biblical. The Hail Mary comes straight from Luke 1:28 and Luke 1:42 — the words of the angel Gabriel and Elizabeth filled with the Holy Spirit.
